The patterned papers are from LOTV except for the letter one.  I added some twine, pearls and a paper clip from a dear friend...  thanks Susie!!!

Summer Fun and DT call at Totally Tilda*****

Hi everyone,

I'm so nervous... it's the Design Team call at Totally Tilda and I would LOVE to be picked again!!!!  I had the best time ever and don't want it to stop, lol!!!  The theme for this wonderful occasion is:

Je suis très nerveuse... chez Totally Tilda, c'est l'appel de l'équipe de design et j'adorerais être choisi de nouveau!!!  J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir et je ne veux pas que ça finisse!  Le thème pour cette occasion merveilleuse est:
Votre interprétation de l'été.

So, for my summer fun, hubby and I like to go camping in our travel trailer.  I call it camping, but really, I think it's actually nicer that our house, lol!!!  I still have internet access (very slow) and my Copics!  We really enjoy the lake and all it's activity.  Would you believe that my husband told me it wasn't a true representation because he doesn't like to fish?  What about creative license, lol!!!

C'est le deuxième été que mon mari et moi allons en camping avec notre roulotte.  J'appelle ça du camping, mais vraiment je crois que la roulotte est plus belle que notre maison, *rire*!!!  J'ai quand même l'internet (très lent) et mes Copics!  Nous profitons du lac et de ses activités.  Pouvez vous croire que mon mari m'a dit que ce n'est pas la vérité parce qu'il ne pêche pas?  Voyons, il faut un peu de créativité tout de même!!!

It's the first time I tried to do a see through card.  I was inspired by my good friend Danielle.  She even send me the jute so I could put the last accent on!  You wouldn't believe how heavy it is!!!  There's lots of layers and I had to do a lot of masking for the images.  On the inside right panel, I stamped a lot of summer sentiment and embossed them.  I left the other side a bit bare so I can write something!
C'est la première fois que je fais une carte dont on peut voir l'intérieure.  Je me suis inspirée de ma bonne amie Danielle.  Elle m'a même envoyé la jute pour finir la dernière touche sur ma carte!  Il y a beaucoup de couches et j'ai du faire beaucoup de masquage pour les images.  À l'intérieur, j'ai estampé un paquet de sentiment d'été et je les ai embossé.  J'ai laissé l'autre côté un peu vide pour pouvoir écrire!

I coloured Tilda in Key Largo and Edwin with Copics on Neenah cardstock.  I added some Stickles to the water and Smooch Illuminate to the seashell.  I put some Frantage on the water for the reflection.  I realized there's probably no seashell in a lake, but just couldn't resist this little sweetheart!
J'ai colorié Tilda et Edwin avec mes Copics sur du carton Neenah.  J'ai ajouté du Stickles sur l'eau et du Smooch Illuminate sur le coquillage.  Je sais qu'il n'y a pas de coquillage sur un lac, mais je ne pouvais pas résister cette petite!

For this scene, I had to stamp the camper (Tilda and Edwin tours) first, then mask it, stamp the Hiking background and re-stamp only the fire!
Pour cette scène, j'ai du estampé la roulotte en premier, ensuite la masquer, estamper le fond et puis ré-estamper le feu!

I made this with some clay that I stamped with Winter Forest stamp and then airbrushed with Copics.  I dabbed a bit of alcohol to make it look like some water got splashed on it!
J'ai fait ce morceau avec de l'argile et une estampe que j'ai ensuite airbrusher avec mes Copics.  J'ai tamponné ave un peu d'alcool pour donner l'air de gouttes d'eau!

I used my favorite guy papers:  DCWV.  They are wonderful and always fits beautifully together!  I added some paper candy and a charm.
J'ai utilisé mes papier favoris pour des cartes masculines:  DCWV.  Ils sont fantastiques et vont toujours bien ensemble.  J'ai ajouté des ronds en papier et un charme.

I coloured Cool Edwin and Edwin's Oldsmobile with Copics.

Going Postal at Totally Tilda

Hello,

Today's the beginning of the new challenge at Totally Tilda.  The theme is:

Going Postal

At first, I wanted to go for the crazy theme, but couldn't find any stamp that fit.  Tilda is just too sweet for this, lol!!!  So I went for the more regular interpretation.
I made this card for the commissionaire where I work.  He's the first person I see in the morning and always has a smile and nice word for me.  He's retiring  and I wanted him to know how much his positive attitude meant to me.

On commence le nouveau défi chez Totally Tilda.  Le thème est:

J'ai fait cette carte pour le commissionaire ou je travaille.  Il est la première personne que je vois le matin et est toujours souriant.  Il prend sa retraite et je voulais qu'il sache à quel point il fait une différence dans ma vie avec son attitude positive.

I didn't want the card to be too girly, after all, it's for a man!!!  I still had to add a few flowers and lace.  I added some LOTV tags which I hand wrote the sentiments and a little charm.
Je ne voulais pas que la carte soit trop féminine, après tout, c'est pour un homme!!!  J'ai quand même ajouté quelques fleurs et de la dentelle.  J'ai aussi mis des étiquettes de LOTV dont j'ai écris les sentiments et un petit charme.

I coloured Waiting Tilda with Copics on Neenah cardstock.  I think she is so cute with her freckles!

I made an easel shaker card.  I added little sugar beads and stars for rain drops.   The gorgeous patterned paper is from Maja Design that my friend Céline sent me.  I cut the frame around Tilda with my Cricut and added lots of WOC flowers and Frantage.

J'ai fait une carte chevalet shaker.  J'ai ajouté des perles et étoiles comme gouttes de pluie.  Le beau papier à motif est de Maja Design, mon amie Céline me l'a envoyé.  J'ai découpé le cadre autour de Tilda avec ma Cricut et ajouté beaucoup de fleurs de WOC et du Frantage.

Here's the inside of the card.  Once again, lots of Frantage and a Kraftin' Kimmie sentiment.

I made another book card.  This one was originally for a course I gave at the local craft store.  When I came back home, I pimped it up, Magnolia style, lol!!!  I added some rolled flowers, a doily, some sentiment tags and of course, a Tilda!!!

J'ai fait un autre livre/carte.  Celui-ci était originalement pour un cours que j'ai donné au magasin de bricolage.  Quand je suis revenu à la maison, je l'ai modifié, genre Magnolia!!!  J'ai ajouté des fleurs roulées, un napperon, des étiquettes sentiment et bien sure, une Tilda!!!

Les papiers à motif, les sentiments et l'image sont de LOTV.  Je trouve ces papiers parfaits pour un gars!  J'ai ajouté des pierres et un ruban.  Je trouve que ça ressemble à des paneaux de bois très rétro, pas vous?!!!

Here's the card I made for my brother 40th birthday.  When we were little, around Christmas time, we would always watch Lucky Luke and Astérix et Obélix.  I thought it would make the perfect card.

Voici la carte de fête de 40 ans pour mon frère.  Quand on était petit, durant le temps des Fêtes, on écoutait toujours Lucky Luke et Astérix et Obélix.  Je crois que c'est la carte parfaite pour lui.

I wanted the image to pop so I didn't add too much.  The patterned paper is a map which fits great with the theme.  I had a sheet with a playing card but only the "4".  It's not the same, but I handmade the "10" to celebrate his forty years old.  To finish, I added a revolver charm.
Je voulais que l'image ressorte, je n'ai donc pas ajouté grand chose.  Le papier à motif est une carte géographique qui est merveilleuse pour le thème que j'ai choisi.  J'avais déjà la carte à jouer avec le quatre de carreau mais il me fallait aussi le dix pour célébrer le quarantième de mon frère.  Ce n'est pas une réussite, mais j'ai fait l'autre carte à la main.  Pour finir, j'ai ajouté un charme révolver.

I made once again one of those book cards.  I just love how pretty they look!  I made the binding out of leatherette.  I wanted to use twine but didn't have the right colours.  So I went and made it myself!!!  I airbrushed the feathers and coloured the ribbon with Copics.  I added some LOTV tags, a bit of film strip and put Frantage embossing enamel everywhere!

J'ai encore fait un de ces livres/cartes.  Je les trouve si jolies!  J'ai fait la reliure avec de la cuirette.  Je voulais utiliser de la corde mais je n'avais pas les bonnes couleurs.  Je me suis débrouillée et j'en ai fait!!!  J'ai vaporisé les plumes et colorié le ruban avec mes Copics.  J'ai ajouté des étiquettes de LOTV, un petit morceau de film et j'ai mis de la poudre à embosser un peu partout!

I coloured Clown Tilda with Copics and added Stickles for sparkle.   I put a little tiny red pompom for her nose!  She looks so cute!

I made the button with a mould and some Sculpey clay.  I finished with a cupcake charm.

J'ai fait le bouton avec un moule et de l'argile Sculpey.  J'ai fini par un charme en petit gateau.

I made the cameo once again with a mould and clay.  I airbrushed it and put a punched tiger.  I thought it fit with the circus theme, lol!!!  I added some gems to complete it all.
J'ai fait la décoration avec un autre moule et de l'argile.  Je l'ai vaporisé et puis j'ai mis un tigre.  Je trouvais que ça allait avec le thème de cirque.  J'ai ajouté des pierres pour completer le tout.
