Sympathie/Sympathy

Bonsoir,
Hello,
My husband asked me to make a sympathy card for a coworker.  It's not something a do often (ok, it's the first time!), so I needed help.  Specially with the restrictions my hubby imposed:  not too girly, no flowers (3-D), no cutie image...   I lifted the design from Michele's blog and suited it to what I had at home.
It's a fairly big card so that many people can sign it:  8 1/2" by 5 1/2".  The stamps, cardstock, ribbon and hardware are from SU.  I got the patterned papers from my stash.  I put two sentiments together to get this one.
I cut the dragonfly with a Magnolia die cut in patterned vellum.

For the challenge at Simon Says challenge:  3 different papers (the background, the patterned paper with the image and the dragonfly).

A+
Brigitte

Well dear Brigitte, for a first timer you did fantastic. You follow instruction well, no surprise there really given your military background and being married, lol.

I hate making these cards for obvious reasons but when you make your own it really helps people understand that you truly care when you say you do.
Sorry for your loss, Sandra :)
